Delivery Reporting
December 2025
Planned vs delivered reporting is important to individuals, departments, and organisations in ensuring equitable distribution in the rota and informing future job planning. It commonly relies on retrospective reports, manual calculations, or locally maintained spreadsheets that are difficult to keep consistent and up to date. This can make it challenging for departments to demonstrate fair workload distribution, support “42-week delivery,” or give clinicians confidence that their work is being recognised accurately. Delivery Reporting was created to address this gap by providing a clear, transparent way to compare expected and delivered work directly from the live rota, giving both departments and clinicians reliable insight into delivery over time without additional administrative burden.
We’re pleased to introduce Delivery Reporting, a new feature included in the CLWRota, Medirota and All Doctor Rostering services. It provides departments and individual clinicians with clear, customisable oversight of expected and delivered work by comparing actual delivery on the live rotas with contractual expectations drawn from doctors’ job plans or work schedules, offering a flexible and transparent way to monitor delivery over time.
Delivery Reporting allows you to define categories of work, set expectations, and track delivery. You can create reporting groups for various places or work types: for example theatres, clinics, on-calls or job plan categories such as DCC, SPA or On-call. You can report on performance flexibly and consistently in your department, ensuring fair distribution of work and supporting "42 week delivery". Expectations can be assigned to people groups, roles or individual clinicians. These repeat according to the reporting period and apply indefinitely – removing the need for future configuration.

Delivery Reporting is operated entirely within Medirota and CLWRota, eliminating the need for manual spreadsheets or separate tracking processes.
